Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Food & Beverage Manager to oversee daily operations within our restaurant and hospitality venues. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive food industry knowledge, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. This role involves managing staff, ensuring food safety standards, and maintaining high-quality food and beverage service to enhance guest satisfaction and operational efficiency.
Duties
- Supervise and coordinate daily restaurant and bar operations, ensuring smooth workflow and adherence to company standards.
- Oversee food preparation, cooking, and presentation to maintain quality and consistency.
- Manage POS systems such as Micros POS for order processing, cash handling, and sales reporting.
- Lead, train, and evaluate staff through interviewing, onboarding, and ongoing coaching to foster a high-performing team.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures.
- Monitor inventory levels, place orders for supplies, and manage stock control to minimize waste.
- Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints promptly, and ensure an exceptional dining experience.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff on menu planning, food presentation, and special event coordination.
- Maintain a welcoming environment that reflects hospitality excellence in both restaurant management and hotel or bar settings if applicable.
Requirements
- Proven experience in restaurant management or food service leadership roles; supervisory experience preferred.
- Strong background in food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety standards.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS; cash handling experience required.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to lead a team effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of food industry trends, restaurant operations, kitchen experience, and hospitality best practices.
- Leadership qualities including team management, interviewing skills, and the ability to motivate staff.
- Experience with food handling regulations and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety.
- Previous hotel or barista experience is a plus for versatile operational understanding.
