Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused Pizza Delivery Driver to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering hot, fresh pizzas to customers in a timely and professional manner. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a clean driving record, and the ability to handle heavy lifting and moving tasks as needed. Duties
- Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport orders to customers across designated areas
- Ensure accurate and timely delivery of pizzas and other menu items
- Provide friendly and professional customer service during deliveries
- Handle cash or electronic payments when necessary
- Assist with moving supplies or equipment within the restaurant or warehouse as needed
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of delivery vehicles
- Communicate effectively with team members regarding delivery status or any issues encountered
- Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations during deliveries
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Experience with commercial driving preferred
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and moving tasks, including handling large or bulky orders
- Strong communication skills for interacting with customers and team members
- Warehouse experience or familiarity with forklift operation is a plus but not required
- Prior customer service experience is advantageous
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Good navigation skills and familiarity with local streets and routes
