We are growing and looking for a dynamic, passionate pet lover to join our team in a unique hybrid role! In this position, you will split your time between Niche Dog Daycare and Global Pet Foods.

What You’ll Do
Daycare & Dog Management (Niche Dog Daycare)
- Supervise and actively engage dogs in both small and large dog rooms.
- Coach and guide dogs using safe, humane, training focused methods while monitoring behavior, energy levels, and group dynamics.
- Assist with dog boarding care, including feeding, cleaning, and enrichment activities.
Retail & Customer Service (Global Pet Foods)
- Provide excellent customer service and nutritional advice to help pet owners.
- Meet and exceed daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets.
- Handle cash management, inventory maintenance, and store merchandising.
- Represent Global Pet Foods at local trade shows and events.
Facility & Operations (Shared Duties)
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe facility at all times across both work environments.
- Undergo frequent training (product knowledge, dog behavior, and health & safety).
- Work collaboratively to ensure a positive experience for pets, customers, and coworkers.
What We’re Looking For
- Bilingualism: Ability to speak, read, and write in English and French is highly preferred/required.
- Experience: Sales, retail, or customer service experience is required. Entry level dog handlers are welcome, but previous experience with dogs (or owning a pet) is a strong asset. Education in basic animal/human nutrition is a bonus.
- Physical Abilities: Must be able to lift 40 lbs regularly, stand for long periods, and physically manage active dogs of various sizes and temperaments.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work days, weekends, and evenings across multiple locations. Reliable transportation is a must.
- Skills & Traits: Strong communication, numeracy, and problem-solving skills. You are highly comfortable with digital media (Facebook, email, training portals), detail oriented, energetic, and open to change.

- Compensation: $18/hour + competitive bonus programs based on team sales goals.
