Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and professional Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting goods to various locations, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining excellent customer service. This role requires a valid driver’s license, familiarity with commercial driving, and the ability to operate heavy equipment when necessary. Duties
- Safely operate delivery vehicles, including trucks and vans, to transport freight to designated destinations
- Load and unload freight using forklifts or other heavy equipment when required
- Ensure accurate documentation of deliveries and pickups
- Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations during transportation
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules or issues
- Assist with warehouse operations as needed, including freight handling and inventory management
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of delivery vehicles and equipment
Experience
- A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is required
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are essential for accurate deliveries and documentation
Pay: $17.20-$22.00 per hour
