Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring timely and safe delivery. This role requires excellent customer service skills, effective communication, and the ability to handle heavy lifting and moving tasks.
Duties
- Safely and efficiently deliver packages to residential and commercial addresses
- Load and unload products, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage during transit. .
- Handle delivery issues or customer questions appropriately or escalate as needed.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safety and reliability.
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential issues.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including receipts and delivery logs.
- Collaborate with warehouse staff to ensure efficient loading and unloading processes.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while on the road.
Experience
- Previous experience in commercial driving is preferred but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with warehouse operations is a plus, including experience with heavy lifting and moving tasks.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members.
- A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required.
