This salon uses Aveda, Bumble Bumble, and Kevin Murphy products, and all styling products are provided for your use with clients.
Responsibilities
- Provide professional hair styling, cutting, coloring, and finishing services tailored to each client’s preferences
- Deliver outstanding customer service by listening carefully to clients’ needs and offering expert advice on styles and treatments
- Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in all work areas, tools, and equipment to ensure a safe environment
- Upsell additional services or retail products that enhance clients’ looks and meet their individual needs
- Manage front desk duties such as greeting clients, scheduling appointments, and handling client inquiries efficiently
- Foster positive communication with clients to build lasting relationships and encourage repeat business
- Stay current with the latest hair trends, techniques, and product knowledge to provide innovative solutions
Requirements
- Proven experience in hair styling, including cutting, coloring, and styling techniques
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally
- Knowledge of sanitation standards and safety protocols within a salon environment
- Ability to upsell retail products confidently while maintaining genuine client relationships
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members
- Experience working at the front desk or handling appointment scheduling is preferred
- A valid cosmetology or hairstylist red seal, at this time we are not hiring apprentices

- AEC / DEP or Skilled Trade Certificate (preferred)
