Operations & Administrative Assistant (Part-Time)
Location: Primarily Remote (with occasional travel to properties throughout British Columbia)
Job Type: Part-Time (15–25 hours/week) with opportunity to grow into a full-time role.

About the Role
We're looking for an Operations & Administrative Assistant to help keep our growing portfolio running smoothly. This role will support property operations, hospitality initiatives, administrative processes, vendor coordination, reporting, and special projects.
The position requires a motivated self-starter, flexible, and able to work with minimal supervision; willing to get involved in many different aspects of the business, as required.
What You'll Do
Operations & Property Support
- Respond to tenant inquiries, maintenance requests, and follow-ups to ensure issues are resolved efficiently.
- Coordinate contractors, suppliers, and service providers
- Track maintenance projects, deadlines and operational requests
- Post rental ads, respond to inquiries, schedule viewings and perform background checks on prospective tenants
- Source and purchase motel supplies, furniture, fixtures, and equipment for properties, when requested
- Assist with posting on our social media and respond to guest reviews; working with our motel team
- Support hospitality and property management teams when required
- Document and improve our standard operating procedures (SOPs)
- Research vendors, contractors, software, and business solutions to support company growth
- Will require driving within lower mainland and may occasionally require travel outside of the lower mainland
Administrative & Finance Support
- Assist with rent collection administration and accounts payable
- Organize our digital filing system and corporate records
- Maintain contracts, licences, insurance renewals, and important business records
- Assist with internal documentation and administrative processes
- Assist with owner and operational reporting
Leadership Support
- Prepare correspondence and meeting materials, if required
- Provide general administrative support to leadership

Qualifications and Experience
- Post-secondary education or equivalent work experience, preferably at a small business or startup
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Ability to manage multiple priorities independently
- High attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
- Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and Google Workspace for document creation and communication
- Experience in real estate, hospitality, construction, or small business operations (an asset but not required)
