Maritime Exhaust is a small business in Moncton, NB E1E 1E4. We are an auto exhaust distribution centre, and our goal is to serve customers while working in a small enjoyable team environment.
We are looking for a permanent Counter Sales and Warehouse Representative to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, processing orders and payments, answering customer inquiries, and maintaining a clean and organized work area and all warehouse work such as picking orders, sending and receiving stock and other duties.
These duties will include physical work in handling stock.
The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills, the ability to multitask. A good working competence in MS Word and Excel.
Responsibilities:
- Greet customers / answer phones and answer their questions.
- Assist customers in selecting products that meet their needs. (some knowledge of automobile mechanics/exhaust would be helpful)
- Provide customers with product information and pricing.
- Maintain accurate records of sales transactions.
- Process payments and issue receipts.
- Ensure that the store is clean and organized.
- Pick customer orders for shipping.
- Receive incoming stock
- Learn company software system with the help of the team.
- Grow your knowledge in the automotive exhaust field in order to better service customers.
- Other jobs as everyone on the team does all the jobs. We really work as a team.
- Any other duties as required by management.
- Forklift certification is a definite asset.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00-$20.00 per hour
