Overview
Looking for an experienced residential cleaner to join our team! Most work will be done within the city of Winnipeg, however there are times you may be required to travel outside of the city.
A reliable personal vehicle and drivers license is required.
This is a full time position, hours may vary from week to week depending on client needs. You must be available between 9am-4pm Monday to Friday.
This is an independent contractor role.
A criminal record check must be done before time of hire.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of residential homes
- Maintain high standards of hygiene by sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and disinfecting surfaces regularly
- Handle waste disposal efficiently, ensuring bins are emptied and areas remain tidy
- Follow health and safety protocols diligently to ensure a safe working environment for all staff and visitors
- Assist with inventory management of cleaning supplies and equipment to ensure availability and proper usage
- Support additional maintenance duties as required to uphold the cleanliness and functionality of the premises
Skills
- Proven experience in cleaning or commercial cleaning roles with attention to detail
- Knowledge of facilities maintenance practices and basic repair procedures
- Ability to operate cleaning machinery such as floor scrubbers or carpet cleaners is an advantage
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently
- Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members and reporting issues promptly
- Physical stamina to stand, bend, lift, and perform cleaning tasks throughout the shift
- A proactive attitude with a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety
