We are recruiting for a Lead Countertop Installer, in the London area.
Our client, a leading supplier of stone countertops and an award-winning custom granite and quartz Fabricator/Installer in Southwestern Ontario, is recruiting for a Lead Countertop Installer. Reporting the General Manager, this position would be responsible to oversee the installation, fabrication and removal of residential and/or commercial countertops to ensure high-qualify, precise and safe projects; supervise a team, communicate directly with clients on-site; manage material logistics and handle technical tasks such as seating, levelling and on-site adjustments.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the installation process, including tear outs, setting, leveling and sealing seams.
- Perform on-site cutting, polishing and drilling of faucet holes of undermount sinks.
- Guide and train Installation Helpers and Technicians, ensuring compliance with company and safety standards.
- Primary communicator with clients, addressing concerns and attaining final sign-off.
- Ensure all materials, tools and sinks are present for the job.
- Review blueprints and/or drawing and verify measurements before and during installation.

Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have the following skills, attributes and experience
- 5+ years of experience in countertop installation, construction or cabinetry with proven experience in granite, quartz and stone
- Physically fit. Able to lift and carry heavy materials up to and over 75 lbs.
- Expertise in hand tools, grinders and precise measuring tools
- Valid Driver's License
- Strong communication skills
- Team player
- Organized and self motivated

- Quick learner
- Steel toed shoes
- Positive attitude and willingness to work!

Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
Experience:
- countertop installation: 5 years (preferred)
- Heavy lifting: 1 year (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
