We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Operations Coordinator to join our growing team. This role is responsible for coordinating daily operational activities, supporting shipment management, facilitating cross-functional communication, and ensuring a seamless customer and operational experience.
Key Responsibilities
Operations Coordination
- Coordinate daily operational activities to support efficient shipment processing and delivery performance.
- Act as a liaison between customers, operations, and internal departments to ensure service requirements are met.
- Monitor operational workflows and escalate issues when necessary to maintain service standards.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Shipment Management
- Track shipments using company systems and provide timely status updates to customers and internal stakeholders.
- Investigate and coordinate resolution of shipment exceptions, including delays, damages, and lost shipments.
- Work closely with operations teams to ensure timely and accurate shipment movement and delivery.
- Monitor shipment performance and identify opportunities for service improvement.
Data Management & Reporting
- Accurately record shipment and operational data in designated systems and formats
- Maintain data integrity and ensure compliance with company procedures.
- Generate operational reports and analyze data to support business and service performance reviews.
- Assist in monitoring KPIs and identifying trends that impact operational effectiveness.
Qualifications
- Bachelor diploma or equivalent; a degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
- At least 1 year of experience in logistics, transportation, customer service, operations coordination, or a related field; courier industry experience is an asset.
- Strong organizational and coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Fluency in both English and Mandarin Chinese (verbal and written) is required. Cantonese is considered an asset.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
