Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting goods to various locations, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining excellent customer service. This role requires a strong focus on safety, efficiency, and professionalism, with opportunities for growth.
Responsibilities
- Place Material Orders for pick up and delivery,
- Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport freight and goods to designated locations.
- Load and unload cargo and other heavy equipment as needed.
- Ensure all deliveries are completed accurately and on schedule.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and basic maintenance to ensure vehicle safety and compliance.
- Assist with freight handling, including loading, securing, and unloading cargo.
- Maintain proper documentation of deliveries and vehicle logs.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies during operations.
Experience
- Prior experience with freight handling or logistics is beneficial.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record required.
