Description:
Established structural and miscellaneous steel shop in Delta is hiring multiple field installers for steady commercial and light industrial work across the Lower Mainland. Stairs, railings, beams, columns, platforms, embeds — real install work with a tight crew.
Foreman experience (5+ years) is an asset — lead hand roles available for the right people.
The work
- Erecting structural and miscellaneous steel on commercial sites
- Field welding in all positions — SMAW and FCAW
- Bolting, fitting, layout from shop drawings
- Aerial lift and boom work at heights
- Safe rigging and site cleanup
You bring
- 3+ years field install experience on structural and misc. steel
- CWB ticket — all-position
- Aerial lift certification (current)
- Valid BC driver's license and own transport
- Fall protection and CSTS (or willing to get current)
- Comfortable reading shop drawings and weld symbols
Asset (lead hand / foreman track)
- 5+ years field experience, including running crews
- Red Seal Ironworker or Welder
- Rigging and signaling experience
- Strong communication with PMs, site supers, and crew
The offer
- $34–$40/hr based on experience and tickets — higher for foreman-level
- Full-time, year-round — not seasonal
- OT available
- Extended health and dental after probation
