Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team for Saturdays and occasional weekdays. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to our patients, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction. This role requires a strong understanding of dental procedures, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with both patients and staff. Our office utilizes Tracker, experience with this software preferred.
Days will be saturdays + few weekdays / month
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough dental cleanings and examinations to assess oral health.
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and preventive care.
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed.
- Document patient treatment plans and maintain accurate records using Dentrix software.
- Assist in the management of patient flow and provide excellent customer service.
- Work closely with dentists in various procedures, including pediatrics and orthodontics.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to infection control protocols.
- Stay updated on the latest dental practices and technologies.
Experience
- Previous experience in a dental office setting is required.
- Strong customer service skills to ensure a positive patient experience.
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a dental hygienist
- Knowledge of Tracker software is a bonus!
