Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Cook/Dishwasher to join our team. This role is essential in maintaining a clean, efficient, and welcoming kitchen environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food service, strong attention to cleanliness, and experience working in restaurant or hospitality settings. Duties
- Prepare and cook food items according to established recipes and standards
- Assist with food plating and presentation to ensure quality and consistency
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen stations, utensils, and equipment through regular cleaning and sanitizing
- Wash dishes, pots, pans, and kitchen tools promptly to ensure availability for food preparation
- Manage waste disposal and ensure proper storage of ingredients and leftovers
- Support food handling procedures in compliance with health and safety regulations
- Assist with inventory management by organizing supplies and notifying management of stock needs
- Follow all safety protocols to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment
Requirements
- Previous experience in food preparation, cooking, or food service is preferred not necessary, will train the right candidate.
- Knowledge of cleaning procedures, sanitation standards, and food handling safety
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Experience in restaurant, hotel, or hospitality settings is a plus
- Strong teamwork skills with excellent communication abilities
- Flexibility to work various shifts as needed, including weekends or holidays if required
- Basic understanding of kitchen equipment operation and maintenance
This position is vital for delivering exceptional dining experiences by ensuring our kitchen operates smoothly and hygienically. Pay: $17.85-$19.99 per hour
