Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Fire Extinguisher technician assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be physically fit, possess strong mechanical knowledge and able to provide essential support to our customers in a fast-paced environment. This role requires proficiency in using hand and power tools. The technician will play a vital role in maintaining equipment and ensuring customer satisfaction through effective service. There is the opportunity to advance in the company by obtaining trade skills to become a fully certified technician in our company. No Previous experience is required. Training is provided. Raises are issued upon completion of essential courses.
Responsibilities
- Assist with testing and servicing of fire extinguishers under supervision. following NFPA standards.
- Support installation and servicing of Kitchen Suppression Systems under licensed technicians direction.
- Use basic hand and power tools to assist with assigned tasks.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Perform physically demanding tasks, including heavy lifting.
- Assist with customer communication under supervision.
- Travel with technicians to Yukon communities to support service activities.
Requirements
- Ability to follow directions.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) as part of daily responsibilities.
- Excellent customer service skills, demonstrating professionalism when interacting with clients.
- Efficient hand writing and math skills.
- Proficient in English language skill oral and written.

Pay: $25.00-$27.00 per hour
