We're redefining veterinary care — want to grow with us?
At PetNation, we believe welcoming a pet into your life shouldn't be a luxury — great care should be within reach for everyone. So we built a different kind of hospital: modern, community-rooted, and affordable without compromise. For the veterinarians who work here, that means something rare under one roof — the breadth of general practice and wellness plus the depth, tools, and team of a referral and emergency hospital. You never have to choose between the two.
Our brand-new, state-of-the-art facility spans over 13,000 sq. ft. in the heart of downtown Toronto, purpose-built for small animal medicine, surgery, and emergency care. Whatever the case in front of you, chances are you can work it up, image it, and treat it — right here, with the people and technology to back you.
What Sets Our Hospital Apart
Most practices ask you to pick a lane. We give you the whole road — and the equipment to travel it:
- Full imaging suite, all in-house: digital radiography (XR), CT, and ultrasound — no waiting on outside referrals to move a case forward.
- Complete in-house laboratory for same-visit diagnostics and faster answers for the families we serve.
- Dedicated radiology and laboratory technicians — specialists who own the imaging and lab workflow so you can stay focused on medicine.
- Four fully equipped operating rooms — surgical capacity that keeps cases flowing and gives you real room to build your skills.
- Two dedicated dental suites for a proper, unrushed standard of dental care.
- One roof, full spectrum of care: general practice, wellness, surgery, and emergency — collaborate across services instead of shipping cases out the door.
The Team You'll Join
You'll practice alongside a genuinely multidisciplinary team — surgeons, emergency doctors, and generalist veterinarians — supported by highly trained technicians and support staff. That mix makes mentorship part of the everyday: a tough surgical case, a crashing patient, a puzzling work-up — there's always an experienced colleague nearby to think it through with you.
And we're still growing. We're expanding our research team and developing future orthopedic streams, opening real pathways for veterinarians who want to learn, grow, and reach — whether that's deepening a clinical interest, contributing to research, or growing into a specialty focus over time.
Who You Are
- A licensed DVM in good standing with the College of Veterinarians of Ontario (CVO).
- Clinically curious and confident across routine, advanced, and emergency cases — or eager to build there with support.
- A team player who values humility, learning, and shared purpose.
- A warm communicator who connects with pet families in an honest, kind, and empowering way.
- Energized by a collaborative, well-resourced environment — and excited to grow, whether toward surgery, emergency, research, or orthopedics.
