We Clean Garbage Cans is looking for an ambitious, motivated, and relationship-driven Commercial Sales Representative (Business Development) to help us build one of Ontario's premier commercial garbage, organic, and recycling can cleaning companies.
This isn't an order-taking sales role.
We're looking for someone who enjoys opening doors, building relationships, and creating new opportunities. If you're motivated by winning new business and want to play a key role in building a rapidly growing company from the ground up, we'd love to meet you.
You'll work directly with ownership to help grow our commercial division by developing relationships with property managers, condominium corporations, apartment complexes, municipalities, industrial facilities, shopping centres, businesses, and other commercial organizations throughout Waterloo Region, Guelph, and the surrounding communities, with opportunities to support our expansion across Ontario as we grow.
What You'll Do
- Prospect new commercial customers through cold calling, cold emailing, networking and in-person visits.
- Build relationships with property managers, facility managers, municipalities and business owners.
- Identify and qualify new commercial opportunities.
- Schedule and conduct on-site demonstrations of our specialized cleaning truck.
- Prepare quotations and follow up with prospective customers.
- Maintain an organized sales pipeline using our CRM.
- Represent We Clean Garbage Cans professionally at networking events and industry functions.
- Collaborate directly with ownership to help develop and improve our commercial sales strategy.
- Become a trusted advisor to commercial customers by identifying opportunities to improve the cleanliness, sanitation, and appearance of their garbage, organic, and recycling cans.
What We're Looking For
- Previous B2B sales or business development experience is preferred.
- A confident and professional communicator.
- Self-motivated with a strong work ethic.
- Comfortable prospecting through cold calls, cold emails and in-person visits.
- Strong organizational and follow-up skills.
- Excellent relationship-building abilities.
- Professional appearance and attitude.
- Valid G Driver's Licence.
Experience selling commercial services, facility services, janitorial services, property services, waste services, landscaping, or similar industries is considered a strong asset but is not required.
Compensation & Benefits
- Base Salary: $60,000 per year.
