E-Commerce Analyst

Our client is a fast-growing distributor and online retailer specializing in aftermarket truck accessories across North America. With a strong e-commerce presence and continued expansion, they are seeking a data-driven and results-oriented Amazon Marketplace & E-Commerce Analyst to help drive online sales, optimize marketplace performance, and support continued business growth.
Position Summary
Reporting to the E-Commerce Manager, the Amazon Marketplace & E-Commerce Analyst will be responsible for maximizing sales performance across Amazon by analyzing business data, optimizing advertising campaigns, improving product listings, managing inventory, monitoring account health, and enhancing the overall customer experience.
Key ResponsibilitiesSales Analysis & Business Growth
- Analyze sales trends and prepare weekly and monthly performance reports.
- Identify opportunities to increase revenue and determine the root causes of declining sales.
- Develop recommendations to improve sales performance and profitability.
- Forecast sales and assist with monthly sales planning and target setting.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide actionable insights to management.
Amazon Advertising Management
- Manage and optimize Amazon PPC campaigns.
- Monitor campaign performance, including impressions, click-through rate (CTR), conversion rate, ACOS, ROAS, and TACOS.
- Optimize keyword strategies, bidding, and campaign structures.
- Manage advertising budgets to maximize return on investment.
- Launch and manage promotional campaigns to increase product visibility and sales.
Inventory Planning & Operations
- Monitor inventory levels and sales velocity across Amazon listings.
- Plan replenishment schedules to prevent stockouts and excess inventory.
- Coordinate with warehouse and logistics teams to resolve shipment delays and inventory discrepancies.
- Investigate lost inventory claims and maintain inventory accuracy.
Product Listing Optimization
- Optimize product titles, bullet points, product descriptions, backend keywords, and A+ Content.
- Conduct keyword research to improve organic rankings.
- Coordinate updates to product images and enhanced content to improve conversion rates.
- Continuously monitor listing performance and recommend improvements.
Marketplace Compliance & Account Health
- Monitor Amazon account health and performance metrics daily.
- Resolve policy notifications, listing suppressions, ASIN restrictions, and account performance issues.
- Ensure promotions, coupons, and marketplace deals are properly configured and performing as expected.
- Maintain compliance with Amazon Seller Central policies and best practices.
Customer Experience
- Respond to customer inquiries regarding products, orders, shipping, and returns.
- Manage returns, refunds, warranty claims, and customer concerns.
- Resolve negative feedback and maintain excellent seller performance metrics.
- Support initiatives that enhance customer satisfaction and strengthen brand reputation.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience managing Amazon Seller Central accounts.
- Experience managing Amazon PPC campaigns and advertising optimization.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales and advertising data.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills; Power BI experience is an asset.
- Experience with Amazon SEO, keyword research, and listing optimization.
- Strong understanding of Amazon marketplace policies, account health, and seller performance metrics.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced e-commerce environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in the automotive aftermarket, truck accessories, or e-commerce industry is considered an asset.
- Experience with both Amazon FBA and FBM operations.
- Familiarity with tools such as Helium 10, Jungle Scout, DataDive, Sellerboard, or similar Amazon analytics platforms.
