Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and personable Hairdresser to join our vibrant salon team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hair styling and delivering exceptional customer service. This role involves creating beautiful haircuts, color treatments, and styling while ensuring clients feel pampered and satisfied. The Hairdresser will also assist with retail sales and maintain high standards of sanitation and professionalism in a welcoming environment.
Duties
- Provide professional hair cutting, coloring, styling, and treatment services tailored to client preferences
- Consult with clients to understand their desired look and recommend suitable styles and products
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of tools, equipment, and workstations in compliance with health standards
- Assist clients at the front desk with scheduling appointments, check-ins, and payments
- Upsell retail hair products and additional services to enhance client satisfaction and salon revenue
- Build strong relationships with clients through excellent communication skills to encourage repeat business
- Manage front desk responsibilities including answering inquiries, booking appointments, and handling client records
Skills
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to connect with diverse clients
- Expertise in hair styling techniques including cutting, coloring, and special treatments
- Knowledge of sanitation procedures to ensure a safe and hygienic environment
- Ability to upsell products and services effectively while maintaining professionalism
- Excellent communication skills for client consultations and team collaboration
- Experience in retail sales within a salon setting is a plus
- Proficiency in managing front desk operations such as scheduling and client management
