Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our culinary team. This role involves preparing ingredients, cooking dishes to order, and ensuring the kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently. Duties
- Prepare ingredients and assist in meal preparation according to recipes and standards
- Cook menu items with attention to presentation, quality, and consistency
- Follow food safety protocols and proper handling procedures to maintain hygiene standards
- Assist in plating dishes for service, ensuring timely delivery to guests
- Maintain cleanliness of work stations, utensils, and kitchen equipment
- Stock and organize kitchen supplies and ingredients for efficient workflow
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during service hours
- Support other kitchen staff as needed in various food preparation tasks
Skills
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or food service roles within a restaurant or food industry setting
- Knowledge of food handling procedures and safety standards (food safety certification is a plus)
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent teamwork and communication abilities
- Familiarity with serving protocols and meal presentation techniques
- Basic understanding of kitchen equipment operation and maintenance

Pay: $15.00-$16.00 per hour
