Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Kitchen Helper to support our culinary team in maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen environment. The ideal candidate will assist with food preparation, food handling, and general cleaning duties to ensure smooth kitchen operations. Responsibilities
- Assist with basic food preparation and cooking tasks under supervision
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen surfaces, utensils, and equipment through regular cleaning
- Handle food items safely in accordance with hygiene standards and food handling regulations
- Support the team in organizing ingredients and supplies for efficient workflow
- Help with serving food to guests or customers as needed
- Ensure proper disposal of waste and maintain sanitation standards throughout the kitchen
- Follow all safety protocols to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment
- Assist with inventory management by restocking supplies as required
Experience
- Prior experience in a restaurant, hotel, or hospitality setting is preferred but not required
- Familiarity with food preparation, cooking, and food handling practices is advantageous
- Experience with cleaning and maintaining kitchen cleanliness standards is beneficial
- Previous roles involving food service or hospitality demonstrate strong teamwork and customer service skills
- No formal experience necessary; training will be provided for all essential duties
