Position Overview
D. Floyd Construction is seeking skilled Chain Link Fence Installers to join our dynamic team. This position will include year-round work, and an opportunity to make an impact on some of Calgary's most meaningful projects!
Key Responsibilities
- Assist and lead in the construction and installation of chain link and ornamental fences
- Assist with fence post pouring as necessary
- Work independently and ensure projects are completed to company stands, on time.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure a productive and positive work environment
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, and organized job site
- Assist with other duties as required
Experience & Skills
- Minimum 1 years of experience installing fences (chain link, and/or ornamental)
- Demonstrated ability to lead and collaborate with colleagues
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs
- Strong teamwork skills and a willingness to learn
- Follow company safety protocols on all sites
Pay and Benefits
- Competitive hourly rate of $22.00 - $27.00 per hour, based on experience

Schedule
- 8 to 10-hour shifts, Monday to Friday (7:00 – 4:30)
- Overtime pay available for additional hours worked
- Weekend work may be necessary due to the nature of the work
- 12 months per year – we work throughout winter!
