Specified Roofing Inc. is currently hiring Flat Roofing Labourers to join our growing team. Our office is located at 315 Attwell Drive, Etobicoke, ON, however work will take place at various job sites throughout the GTA and surrounding areas.
This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy hands-on work, working outdoors, and being part of a construction team. Roofing is physically demanding work that requires a strong work ethic, reliability, and a commitment to safety.
Responsibilities:
- Assist roofing crews with daily roofing operations
- Load, unload, lift, and transport roofing materials and equipment
- Assist with roof tear-offs and installation of new roofing systems
- Move materials between ground level and rooftops
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Set up and take down site protection, fencing, and equipment
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures
- Perform general labour duties as required
Requirements:
- Ability to perform physically demanding work and heavy lifting
- Comfortable working at heights and on rooftops
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Reliable transportation to work
- Strong work ethic, punctuality, and willingness to learn
- Construction or roofing experience is an asset but not required
- Valid Working at Heights certification is a strong asset
- Other safety certifications such as WHMIS, Elevated Work Platform, or First Aid are considered assets
Work Schedule:
- Full-time, seasonal construction work
- Shifts may include early mornings, evenings, overnight work, weekends, and occasional out-of-town travel depending on project requirements
- Overtime opportunities may be available
