The Project Coordinator, reporting to the Simulated Education Faculty Lead, will support the planning, coordination, and implementation of projects and initiatives within the Simulated Education Unit.
The incumbent plays a key role in ensuring the effective execution of simulation-based education activities and projects.
Responsibilities include coordinating project activities across all phases, and supporting other simulation-related initiatives as assigned. In this role, the incumbent will also engage and communicate with faculty, staff, students, and clinical partners to support the successful completion and delivery of all assigned projects and initiatives.
The Project Coordinator will monitor timelines, tracks progress, prepare and present reports and updates, prepare and submit any required documentation and update forms, and ensures all deliverables are completed in a timely and organized manner.
Note: This is a fully in-person, on-site position.
Qualifications
Education:
- Undergraduate degree in Health Sciences or a related field required
Experience:
- minimum of 1 year work experience in a clinical simulation-based education unit within a University setting required;
- experience of working closely and collaborating with faculty members and learners to support simulation-based learning activities within a University setting required,
- experience conducting research and quality improvement initiatives (e.g., re-development of learning activities) in a university setting required;
professional work experience in providing technical assistance in support of education activities within clinical simulation within a University environment required;

Simulation & Academic Environment Knowledge
- Familiarity with University academic environments, specifically in simulation-based practice and learning settings
- Understanding of simulation-based education and/or clinical skills training environments and workflow
- Experience contributing to workflow development and process mapping
Communication & Collaboration
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with faculty, staff, students, and external partners
- Ability to facilitate coordination across diverse stakeholder groups
- Demonstrated professionalism, diplomacy, and conflict resolution skills
Technical & Administrative Skills
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other applications (including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint/OneDrive, Calendar, Forms, Qualtrics)
- Experience with teleconferencing and virtual collaboration tools considered an asset
- Familiarity with learning management systems (e.g., OWL/Brightspace) considered an asset
