About the role
cuddle+kind is looking for a warm, dependable Customer Service Agent to join our team part-time. You will be the friendly voice and steady hand behind our customer experience, helping people across phone, email, text, and social platforms, while making sure every interaction reflects the care our brand is known for.
This is a seasonal part-time role with an initial three-month term, with the potential for extension or a permanent role based on business needs and performance.
Training takes place in person at our Etobicoke/Toronto office. After training, this role will be remote.
What you will do
· Respond to customer inquiries through Zendesk, including email, phone, text, and social platforms.
· Assist customers with order questions, shipping updates, returns, exchanges, product information, and promotional inquiries.
· Provide warm, accurate, and helpful support to customers.
· Follow internal processes carefully and document customer interactions clearly.
· Escalate issues when needed and communicate clearly with the internal team.
· Maintain a calm, professional, and kind tone, especially when assisting upset or concerned customers.
· Support the customer experience in a way that reflects the cuddle+kind brand and mission.
· Spot recurring issues and share feedback to help us improve the customer experience.
What we are looking for
· Previous customer service experience is preferred.
· Strong written and verbal communication skills are required, including comfort supporting customers by phone.
· Organized, reliable, and detail-oriented.
· Comfortable juggling multiple customer inquiries and priorities at once.
· Able to work independently while staying connected with the team.
· E-commerce experience is an asset.
· Sales experience is an asset.
· Experience with Zendesk is an asset.
· Empathetic, patient, and someone who genuinely enjoys helping people.
Schedule
Expected hours are typically 6 to 20 hours per week, depending on training needs, availability, and business needs, with the potential to increase during busier periods.
Evening and weekend availability is required. During peak or seasonal periods, some daytime hours may also be needed.
This role is remote after the training period, which takes place in person at our Etobicoke/Toronto office.
