Position Overview:
The glazier is responsible for the installation and finishing of sealed units in vinyl, wood and aluminum framed windows. This position plays a key role in delivering high-quality finishes for residential and commercial projects, including unit turnovers, renovations, and repairs within other managed properties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Measuring for new glass and sealed units.
- Installing sealed units and single pane glass in frames and or windows.
- Inspect work to ensure conformity with specifications and quality standards.
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas at all times.
- Work collaboratively with others and other trades to ensure efficient project completion.
- Follow all safety policies, procedures, and site-specific requirements.
- Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment as needed. Qualifications & Skills:
- Minimum 2–3 years of installing, repairing and general window knowledge.
- Knowledge of glass replacement, window part repairs & screen making
- Familiarity with various types of glass and application (ex: Tempered, laminated & single pane float, sealed units).
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to produce consistent, high-quality finishes.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in various environments (occupied and vacant units).
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportion is a must. Work Conditions:
- Primarily field-based, working at multiple residential and commercial sites.
- May require flexible hours, including occasional evenings or weekends depending on project timelines.
- Must adhere to all safety and PPE requirements.
