Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our vibrant restaurant team. Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items with precision, following established recipes and presentation standards
- Assist in food preparation tasks such as chopping, slicing, and portioning ingredients
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations throughout shifts
- Ensure all food handling practices comply with safety and sanitation standards
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient meal preparation and timely delivery of orders
- Monitor food quality during preparation and presentation
- Follow all food safety protocols to prevent contamination and ensure customer safety
- Support the team during busy periods by assisting with additional kitchen duties as needed
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environments is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and meal assembly
- Understanding of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong teamwork skills and good communication abilities
- Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends or evenings if required
