Job description:
Danforth Neurology is seeking a Physician Assistant to join our group of neurologists (one full time, three part-time). We are a general neurology practice that assesses and follows patients with headache, dementia, seizures, Parkinson's disease and other neurologic conditions.
The ideal candidate will have some experience with neurology, but new graduates are encouraged to apply. Experience in assisting with nerve blocks and Botox injections is an asset.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of a recognized Physician Assistant Program (Canadian/US)
- Registered or Eligible for Registration with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario as a Physician Assistant.
Job Description:
- Work Monday to Thursday (4 days a week, schedule may be flexible)
- Work with our neurologists on patient consultations and follow-ups
- Document encounters on our EMR (paperless clinic), including medical history, current symptoms, vitals, neurologic examination, assessments and treatment plans.
- Collaboratively provide routine patient follow-up and support.
Local candidates are preferred. Fluency in English is required.
