We are seeking a trustworthy, caring, and detail-oriented Housekeeper / Family Home Assistant to help maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming home. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in creating a comfortable living environment and enjoys supporting a busy household.
The successful candidate will be dependable, respectful of privacy, and able to work independently while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organization. As communication with extended family members is important, fluency in English and either Filipino (Tagalog) or Italian is required.
Responsibilities
- Perform daily and weekly cleaning of all areas of the home, including:
- Bedrooms
- Bathrooms
- Kitchen
- Living and dining areas
- Laundry room
- Hallways and entryways
- Dust, vacuum, sweep, mop, and sanitize all surfaces.
- Make beds, change linens, and maintain guest rooms when required.
- Complete household laundry, including washing, drying, folding, ironing, and organizing clothing and linens.
- Organize closets, cupboards, pantry, and household storage areas.
- Restock household supplies, toiletries, cleaning products, and other essentials.
- Empty garbage and recycling and ensure proper disposal.
- Maintain cleaning equipment and household appliances in good working order.
- Report maintenance concerns or household repairs requiring attention.
- Assist with light household errands, grocery organization, and other general home support duties as requested.
- Maintain complete confidentiality and respect the privacy of all family members.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a housekeeper, home assistant, or in residential cleaning is preferred.
- Excellent attention to detail with high standards of cleanliness and organization.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy with a strong work ethic.
- Physically able to perform household cleaning duties, including lifting moderate loads and standing for extended periods.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Comfortable working in a private family residence.
- Must be fluent in English and able to speak either Filipino (Tagalog), Russian or Italian.
