Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Production Technician to join our manufacturing team. This role is vital in ensuring the efficient operation of production processes, maintaining quality standards, and supporting the assembly of products. The ideal candidate will possess mechanical aptitude, familiarity with manufacturing environments, and experience with various tools and equipment. Duties
- Operate and monitor manufacturing equipment to ensure smooth production flow.
- Assist with assembly tasks, utilizing hand tools, power tools, and other mechanical devices.
- Conduct routine inspections of machinery and perform basic troubleshooting to identify issues.
- Use forklifts and warehouse equipment to move raw materials and finished products safely.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas to comply with safety standards.
- Support maintenance activities, including minor repairs and equipment lubrication.
- Follow safety protocols at all times, recognizing potential hazards within the manufacturing environment.
- Document production activities accurately and report any discrepancies or malfunctions promptly.
Requirements
- Prior experience in manufacturing, warehouse, or assembly environments is preferred.
- Mechanical knowledge or background in using hand tools, power tools, and assembly equipment is highly desirable.
- Experience operating forklifts or similar warehouse machinery is a plus; certification is advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions precisely.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining safety standards.
- Basic understanding of manufacturing processes and equipment operation.
- Physical ability to lift up to 40 pounds, stand for extended periods, and perform manual tasks as required.
- Prior experience with warehouse operations or industrial maintenance is beneficial but not mandatory.
Pay: $17.60-$20.00 per hour
