Compensation
- Annual salary range: $60,000 – $80,000, commensurate with experience

Responsibilities
- Prepare, format, proofread, and revise a wide range of legal and business documents, including transactional materials, correspondence, reports, presentations, and spreadsheets
- Ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance with firm standards and legal requirements across all documentation
- Manage corporate files, including opening and closing files, completing client intake and “Know Your Client” (KYC) documentation, and maintaining file tracking systems
- Support day-to-day practice operations, including calendar management, scheduling meetings, and coordinating appointments
- Assist with billing processes, including time entry, invoice preparation, and drafting account-related correspondence
- Prepare financial and administrative requests such as cheque requisitions, trust deposits, and trust withdrawals
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client contact and matter information in internal systems
- Liaise professionally with lawyers, clients, financial institutions, regulatory bodies, and other external stakeholders as required
Qualifications
- Legal Administrative Assistant diploma or equivalent from a recognized post-secondary institution
- 2–3 years of experience in a law firm environment, ideally supporting a corporate or securities practice
- Working knowledge of corporate transactions and related legal terminology
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Excellent written communication skills, with strong grammar, proofreading, and formatting ability
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- High level of discretion and professionalism when handling confidential information
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and accuracy in all work products
