Maintenance Mechanic Helper
Reports to – Maintenance Mechanic
Responsibilities:
- Assist in administering company preventative maintenance program
- Assisting in the performance of preventative maintenance on all scheduled equipment
- Assist in trouble shooting equipment break downs
- Assist in ordering parts for replacement
- General building maintenance (Lighting, Plumbing, Signage)
- Assist in machinery installation and moving
- Light carpentry work
- Other related duties as required
Qualifications:
- Experience using and maintaining hand and electrical tools
- Ability to read technical manuals and drawings an asset
- Very good communication and interpersonal skills
- Physical stamina and dexterity
- Ability to perform with minimal supervision
- Computer knowledge
- A willingness to learn and develop new skills
- Valid Class G Driver’s Licence
- Must be able to obtain and maintain through DAVIS a Controlled Goods Security Clearance
