Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our team in delivering exceptional dining experiences. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in providing outstanding guest services, ensuring that every patron feels welcomed and satisfied. You will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and maintaining a clean and organized dining area. Your ability to manage time effectively and work collaboratively with the kitchen staff will contribute to the overall success of our establishment.
Responsibilities
- Greet and seat guests promptly while providing menus and information about daily specials.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using the POS system, ensuring all requests are communicated clearly to the kitchen staff.
- Serve food and drinks efficiently while checking in with guests to ensure satisfaction throughout their meal.
- Upsell menu items when appropriate to enhance guest experience and increase sales.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and providing change as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness of tables, dining areas, and service stations throughout the shift.
- Assist with food preparation as needed, adhering to food handling safety standards.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and address any guest concerns promptly.
Experience
- Previous experience in the food industry is preferred but not required; we are willing to train motivated individuals.
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively during busy service periods.
- Familiarity with food preparation techniques and safe food handling practices is a plus.
- Proficiency in using POS systems for order entry and payment processing.
- Excellent guest service skills with a friendly demeanor that enhances the dining experience.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately.
