Job description
- Plan, implement, and assess developmentally appropriate activities and experiences based on observations of the children’s interests
- Ensure positive interactions and behaviour guidance for children that encourages self-regulation and healthy self-esteem
- Ensure the safety of the children and their environment
- To work and speak effectively and professionally with parents, families, outside agencies, and other team members
- Effective interpersonal skills under all types of conditions, exhibiting a supportive and positive approach
- Contribute to the on-going operations of the centre ensuring centre policies and Ministry standards are followed and maintained
- Promote the centre within the community
