What you'll be doing:
- Greets customers ensuring optimum customer service as required
- Checks in customer Motorcycles with service advisor/receptionist.
- Organizes lot and when required the showroom to ensure Motorcycles are positioned as per dealership requirements.
- Responsible to maintain the general housekeeping of the lot, showroom and showroom washrooms on a continuous basis as well as the Technician work areas
- Runs errands for the service department as required and for sales at the service managers discretion
- Maintains complete knowledge of and complies with company and departmental policies, procedures and standards.
- Detail / wash motorcycles for pre-delivery as well as post service with an exceptional attention to detail
- Operate in a safe manner the fork lift for loading and unloading trucks
- Operate the fork lift to ensure the garbage bins are placed appropriately when required for emptying
- Maintains customer and company confidence by keeping information confidential and secure.
- Maintains a positive working relationship with team members and management in a team environment.
- Maintain the organization of motorcycle inventory upstairs to alleviate clutter and prevent damage to unit
- Stage bikes and assist techs with ensuring their jobs are ready for when they need them.
- Keeping the yard and customer parking areas maintained such as cutting grass, cleaning garbage, snow removal and salting
What we need:
- Must be able to work outdoors
- Must be able to push a motorcycle – this is heavy work – we can train you but there is a lot of physical activity
- A valid driver's license and a clean drivers abstract
- Ability to ride a motorcycle a bonus
- Must be able to operate a forklift
- Availability to work Tuesday to Saturday as well as evenings as required
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Ability to work in a fast pace environment
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and customer service skills
