We currently have an opportunity for a Product Marketing Specialist to join our Marketing team, working from our head office in Steinbach, MB. Within the Product Marketing Specialistrole, you will assist in all functions of the planning and execution of Barkman’s marketing strategies and initiatives across different channels. You will be highly flexible and willing to learn, with the proven ability to work well under pressure and adhere to multiple deadlines.

Responsibilities of a Product Marketing Specialist include but are not limited to:
- Plan, coordinate, and execute marketing strategy for new product launches
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop marketing strategies
- Support product lifecycle marketing efforts, developing and executing campaigns that drive product awareness, adoption, and growth
- Collect and analyze feedback from customers, internal teams, and other stakeholders to identify opportunities
- Develop and maintain product marketing assets
- Identify market opportunities and trends to improve product positioning, customer education, and market effectiveness
- Ensure marketing strategies, and product information align with Barkman’s brand strategy
- Coordinate product imagery and visual assets
- Edit and retouch photography for use across digital and print marketing channels
- Stay up to date on marketing, product marketing, and design trends
- Travel as required to Barkman facilities, customer locations, and industry events
- Additional marketing-related tasks and projects as assigned
The ideal candidate:
- 2–5 years of experience in marketing, product marketing, brand marketing, or a related field
- Experience coordinating cross-functional projects
- Organizational and project management skills, managing multiple priorities and deadlines
- Excellent written, and verbal communication skills, including presentation skills
- Proficiency in various computer programs and software, Microsoft 365, Adobe Creative Cloud, etc.
- Experience in graphic design and photo editing/retouching
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining brand standards
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while managing projects independently
- Ability to work effectively under strict deadlines
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel for business as required
- Experience with photography coordination, rendering projects, architectural visualization assets, or digital asset management is considered an asset
