We are seeking an experienced Journeyman Heavy Duty Field Mechanic to join our field service team. This is a full-time position offering competitive compensation, a highly equipped service truck, and the opportunity to work independently while being supported by a growing organization focused on continuous improvement.
What You'll Be Doing
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair a variety of off-highway heavy equipment in the field
- Perform scheduled maintenance and preventative service work at customer locations
- Complete detailed and accurate digital service documentation
- Utilize electronic diagnostic tools and OEM service information systems
- Communicate effectively with customers while representing Ironedge professionally
- Work independently while maintaining communication with the Field Service Manager and support team
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe service truck and work environment

What We're Looking For
The ideal candidate will:
- Hold a valid Heavy Duty Journeyman Certificate
- Have multiple years of experience with off-highway heavy equipment
- Be proficient in electronic diagnostics and comfortable using OEM software and digital work order systems
- Possess a willingness to continue learning and adapting as equipment and technology evolve
- Supply personal hand tools (major service truck equipment provided)
- Be self-motivated, organized, and capable of working independently
- Communicate clearly and professionally with customers and coworkers
- Be detail-oriented, safety-focused, and accountable for producing quality work
- Take pride in solving problems efficiently and minimizing comebacks
