Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and professional Registered Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice for a short term leave coverage for the month of Aug Tuesdays and Thursdays. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional patient care, promote oral health education, and support the overall operations of our clinic. This role offers an opportunity to work in a collaborative environment with a focus on patient comfort and quality service.
Responsibilitiess.
- Perform dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing teeth to remove plaque and tartar buildup
- Take and develop dental radiographs as needed
- Provide oral health education and personalized care instructions to patients
- Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures
- Ensure a clean and sterilized clinical environment in compliance with infection control protocols
- Support patients with questions regarding treatment plans and post-care instructions
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth daily operations of the dental practice
Qualifications
- Valid licensure as a Registered Dental Hygienist in accordance with state regulations
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients of all ages
- Familiarity with medical terminology relevant to dentistry and oral health care
- Ability to work well within a team-oriented setting while maintaining professionalism and compassion
