Job Information and Schedule:
· $35 an hour – Permanent / Full Time Position Available
· Monday – Friday. Occasional weekend shift if required
· Three weeks vacation

Job Description and Qualifications:
· 10+ years Managerial experience
· Previous team of 40 or more staff management experience is an asset
· Quality and customer care driven
· Manage a team of 2 Shippers and 2 Receivers
· Manage a team of 2 Maintenance staff
· Maintenance skills an asset to help troubleshoot equipment issues.
· Attendance and punctuality are critical for this position
· Able to work in a fast-paced environment
· Must be able to multitask
· Ability to collaborate with other Managers and assist as needed.
· H&S certification part 1 and 2 up to date, will send for training if required.
Duties Included But Not Limited To:
· Manage production floor to ensure it is operating productively and efficiently
· Ensure you and your team are meeting daily targets
· Ensure the highest level of quality products are being produced (Quality Control)
· Managing all aspects of your team; hiring, discipline, reviews, tracking attendance, vacations, etc.
· Assign jobs and people to their prospective areas/tasks each shift.
· Cross train staff for better coverage.
· Recommend increases for staff during annual review. Approved by GM.
· Creating and maintaining a cohesive work environment for the entire team on your shift
· Ensuring that organization and cleanliness of the production floor is kept top notch
· Develop standard operating procedures.
Precautions and Safety:
· Ensure all staff comply with Occupational Health and Safety Act.
· Part of the Joint Health and Safety Committee.
· Personal protective equipment fully provided by the company.
· No outside traffic permissible in the building
· Work areas throughout the production floor are kept clean and disinfected for the maintenance and production of furnace air filters – this is a requirement.
Training of job specifics will be paid and provided by company.
