Job Overview
Mr. Rooter Plumbing is seeking an experienced Interior Excavation Plumbing Technician to join our growing team. This role specializes in interior underground plumbing repairs and replacements, including concrete removal, sewer and drain line replacement, and system upgrades within residential properties.
The ideal candidate takes pride in quality workmanship, follows safety standards, and delivers exceptional customer service while performing complex interior excavation projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform interior home plumbing excavations in basements, crawlspaces, and slab foundations
- Safely break, remove, and restore concrete flooring
- Install, repair, and replace underground sewer and drain piping
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe job sites during and after work
- Follow local plumbing codes and Mr. Rooter Plumbing standards
- Communicate clearly with customers regarding scope of work and timelines
- Properly use excavation tools, jackhammers, saws, and plumbing equipment
- Complete required paperwork, photos, and documentation accurately
Qualifications
- Ideally, 1+ years of plumbing experience (interior excavation experience preferred)
- Knowledge of underground plumbing systems
- Experience with concrete breaking and removal
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in physically demanding environments
- Strong attention to safety and detail
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $50,000.00 per year
