About Us
Copper Cork Distillery is a proudly Alberta-owned craft distillery dedicated to producing premium spirits with exceptional quality and craftsmanship. We create award-worthy vodka, gin, whisky, rum, liqueurs, and seasonal releases while providing a welcoming and memorable experience for every customer who visits our tasting room.
We're looking for an energetic, reliable, and hands-on individual to join our team in a unique hybrid role that combines bartending, retail sales, and production support. No two days are the same—one day you may be crafting cocktails and educating guests, while the next you're helping bottle spirits or prepare orders for distribution.
What You'll Do
Bartending & Customer Experience
- Prepare and serve cocktails, flights, and other beverages according to company recipes.
- Deliver exceptional customer service in our tasting room and retail store.
- Educate customers about our spirits, production process, and brand story.
- Process sales through the POS system and handle cash and card transactions.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming bar and tasting room.
- Restock bar supplies and retail inventory as needed.
- Ensure responsible alcohol service and comply with AGLC regulations.
Production & Warehouse Support
- Assist with bottling, labeling, packaging, and quality control of spirits.
- Prepare orders for wholesale, retail, and distribution.
- Apply shipping labels and prepare pallets for shipment.
- Receive and organize inventory and production materials.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation throughout the production facility.
- Assist with general warehouse duties and equipment cleaning.
- Support production staff with day-to-day operations as needed.
What We're Looking For
- Previous bartending, serving, or hospitality experience preferred.
- Production, manufacturing, brewery, or distillery experience is an asset but not required.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Strong work ethic with attention to detail.
- Comfortable performing physically demanding work, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn multiple aspects of the business.
- Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends.
- ProServe Certification (or willingness to obtain before starting).
