Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Restaurant Manager to oversee daily operations at our Tim Hortons establishment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive restaurant experience, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. This role involves managing staff, ensuring food safety standards, and maintaining a welcoming environment for guests. Duties
- Manage daily restaurant operations, including food preparation, serving, and overall guest experience
- Manage and train staff, including interviewing and onboarding new team members
- Oversee food handling procedures to ensure compliance with food safety standards
- Coordinate with kitchen staff on food quality, presentation, and timely service
- Handle cash transactions using POS systems, ensuring accurate cash handling
- Monitor inventory levels and place orders for supplies as needed
- Ensure cleanliness and sanitation of the restaurant environment in accordance with health regulations
- Lead team huddles to communicate goals, policies, and updates
- Address customer concerns promptly to maintain high levels of satisfaction
- Implement strategies to improve operational efficiency and sales performance
- Uphold hospitality standards by creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests
Qualifications
- Proven experience in restaurant management or food service leadership roles
- Strong knowledge of food industry standards, food safety, and kitchen operations
- Supervising experience with a track record of effective team management and leadership
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle diverse guest needs
- Knowledge of food handling procedures
