Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Construction Operations Manager to lead and oversee commercial and agricultural construction projects from inception to completion. Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of commercial and agricultural construction projects, ensuring timely delivery within scope and budget
- Review blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate interpretation for on-site execution
- Oversee procurement processes, including construction estimating, bid analysis with HeavyBid or comparable tools, and resource allocation
- Manage project teams by assigning tasks, monitoring performance, and providing mentorship to promote safety, quality, and efficiency
- Utilize construction management software such as ProCore, Bluebeam, or Civil 3D to document progress, communicate with stakeholders, and maintain comprehensive records
- Conduct regular site inspections to verify adherence to safety protocols, quality standards, and design specifications
- Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, engineers, and clients to resolve issues promptly and maintain smooth workflow
- Ensure all construction activities comply with local codes, regulations, and environmental standards
- Prepare detailed reports on project status, budgets, risks, and milestones for senior management review
Experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Commercial Agricultural Construction Manager
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Post Frame Construction
- Proven experience in managing large-scale commercial or agricultural construction projects with a track record of successful delivery
- Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and technical drawings in construction settings
- Proficiency in construction estimating tools such as HeavyBid or equivalent software for accurate cost analysis
- Hands-on experience with project management platforms like ProCore or Primavera P6 for scheduling and documentation purposes
- Working knowledge of construction management software like Bluebeam for document review and collaboration
- Ability to read schematics accurately and apply them effectively during project execution
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently in fast-paced environments
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities in supervising diverse teams across multiple projects while maintaining high safety standards
