Interlake Brewing Co. is seeking an experienced and dependable Kitchen Manager for a 1-year interim contract that we hope will lead to a long term permanent position. Located in the heart of Gimli, our busy brewpub combines high quality house-made food, craft beer, live events, and a strong community atmosphere.
We are looking for a motivated leader who can manage a fast-paced kitchen environment, support and develop staff, and maintain high standards of food quality and service.

Responsibilities
- Oversee daily kitchen operations and service flow
- Lead, supervise, and support kitchen staff
- Create and manage staff schedules
- Maintain food quality, consistency, and presentation standards
- Monitor inventory, ordering, and food costs
- Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations
- Assist with menu features, specials, and seasonal programming
- Foster a positive, professional, team-oriented workplace culture
Qualifications
- Previous kitchen management or supervisory experience preferred
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume environment
- Knowledge of food safety standards and kitchen operations
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Reliable, adaptable, and solution-focused
- Culinary training is considered an asset
