Duties
- Assist with meal preparation and food handling to ensure timely service
- Prepare ingredients and assist in cooking dishes according to restaurant standards
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen workstations, utensils, and equipment
- Follow food safety protocols and hygiene standards at all times
- Support the serving staff with timely delivery of meals when needed
- Ensure proper storage of ingredients and leftovers in accordance with health regulations
- Assist with inventory management and stock rotation
- Contribute to a positive team environment by collaborating effectively with kitchen staff
Skills
- Proven experience in cooking, food preparation, or restaurant settings is preferred
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper handling procedures
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong understanding of kitchen equipment and basic meal assembly techniques
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
- Familiarity with the food industry practices, including serving and food presentation
- Attention to detail in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards
- Flexibility to adapt to various tasks within the kitchen as needed
