As our Site Operations Coordinator, you'll take ownership of the movement, organization and customer readiness of everything outside our four walls. From equipment flow and inventory organization to customer pickups and the overall appearance of our site, you'll ensure our outdoor operations are safe, efficient and ready to support every customer interaction.
Working alongside two Site Associates, you'll coordinate daily priorities, establish efficient workflows and help create a well-organized operation that enables our Sales, Service and Parts teams to deliver an exceptional customer experience. While this role does not have formal people management responsibilities, you will provide day-to-day direction, coaching and coordination to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently and to Kooy Brothers' standards.
If you enjoy being outdoors rather than behind a desk, this role offers the opportunity to take ownership of a dynamic, year-round operation. This is a hands-on position performed primarily outdoors in all seasons and weather conditions, where you'll play a key role in keeping our equipment, inventory and site organized, safe and customer-ready every day.
Site Operations & Presentation: Own the organization, appearance, cleanliness, accessibility and operational readiness of all outdoor areas, including equipment layout, staging areas, traffic flow and seasonal conditions.Equipment & Inventory Coordination: Maintain an accurate and organized system for tracking equipment across the site, including clearly designated bin and location assignments. Coordinate equipment movement between departments, stage equipment according to business priorities, and update locations and inventory movements in the dealership’s inventory management system using a computer or tablet. Ensure physical equipment locations match system records, support inventory counts and audits and identify and resolve discrepancies proactively.
Daily Team Coordination: Plan and coordinate the daily activities of two Site Associates, establish priorities, monitor progress, provide day-to-day direction and coaching, and escalate performance concerns when appropriate.Customer Experience: Ensure customer pickup areas are organized and welcoming, assist customers in the outdoor equipment area, coordinate safe loading and unloading, and support seamless customer handoffs.Cross-Functional Coordination: Work closely with Service, Parts, Sales, Warehouse and Delivery to ensure equipment is available where and when it is needed.Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve site organization, equipment flow, efficiency and operational effectiveness through practical, sustainable improvements.

- Experience in equipment, fleet, construction, industrial, dealership or similar operations.- Exceptional organizational and planning skills.- Comfortable using computers, tablets and inventory management systems to maintain accurate equipment locations and inventory records.- Strong attention to detail with the ability to accurately track equipment using bin and location systems.
- A proactive, ownership mindset with the ability to prioritize competing demands.- Demonstrated communication and coordination skills.- A commitment to safety and customer service.- Experience operating forklifts and heavy equipment (or willingness to become certified).- Comfort working outdoors in all seasons and weather conditions.- The ability to lift up to 70 lbs and perform the physical demands of a hands-on role.
