Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Concrete Laborer or Finished to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in various concrete construction tasks, ensuring projects are completed efficiently and to the highest standards. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety on the job site.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of job sites by clearing debris and setting up forms for concrete pours.
- Mix, pour, and finish concrete according to specifications.
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
- Help with the installation of concrete structures such as sidewalks, driveways, and foundations.
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment and tools to ensure optimal performance.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and within quality standards.
Requirements
- Previous experience in concrete work or construction is preferred but not required.
- Ability to lift heavy materials (up to 50 pounds) and perform physically demanding tasks for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Knowledge of safety practices related to construction work is a plus.
- Willingness to learn new skills and techniques related to concrete labor.
- Reliable transportation to job sites is essential.
