Position Overview
We are seeking a reliable Construction Labourer to join our team. This is a hands-on position that involves assisting with all aspects of construction projects, from demolition and framing to finishing work and site cleanup. The ideal candidate has a strong work ethic, takes pride in their work, and is eager to learn new skills.
Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and organize construction materials, tools, and equipment.
- Assist carpenters and other skilled trades on residential and commercial projects.
- Perform demolition, excavation, framing, and general construction labour.
- Prepare and maintain clean, safe, and organized job sites.
- Operate hand and power tools safely and effectively.
- Assist with measuring, cutting, lifting, and installing building materials.
- Set up and dismantle temporary barriers, scaffolding, and work areas as required.
- Follow all company safety procedures and Ontario health and safety regulations.
- Complete tasks efficiently while maintaining high-quality workmanship.
- Represent CAAM Construction professionally on every job site.
Qualifications
- Previous construction experience is considered an asset but is not required.
- Physically capable of lifting 50+ lbs and performing demanding labour throughout the day.
- Strong work ethic with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Punctual, dependable, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
- Ability to follow instructions and pay attention to detail.
- Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Valid G Driver’s Licence and reliable transportation are considered strong assets.
