Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Automotive Mechanic to join our service team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair, maintenance, and diagnostics, with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. This role involves performing repairs, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring vehicles are serviced to the highest standards. Experience with dealership operations, welding, and schematic reading is highly valued. Duties
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues on various makes and models
- Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, and fluid replacements
- Carry out maintenance, safety repairs, and warranty work
- Maintain detailed records of repairs and services performed
- Communicate effectively with team members regarding repair needs and timelines
- Ensure all work meets quality standards
Qualifications
- Licensed Automotive Service Technician preferred
- Experienced unlicensed mechanics will be considered
- Strong mechanical knowledge of various vehicle systems and components
- Ability to read schematics and technical manuals for diagnostics and repairs
- Experience with automotive repair software is a plus
- Capable of heavy lifting and working on vehicles in various positions for extended periods
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to explain technical issues clearly
- Valid BC driver’s license with a clean driving record

Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour
